Online sessions
I work online with clients across the UK, offering the same warm, confidential space as meeting in person, without the need to travel.
Some people find it easier to open up from somewhere familiar, and it can make regular sessions far more manageable alongside work, family and other commitments.
Who online counselling suits
Online sessions can work well if you have a busy schedule or caring responsibilities, if travelling is difficult, or if you simply feel more comfortable talking from home. It can also be a good way to keep going with therapy if you move away or travel. I work online with clients across the UK.
Is online counselling as effective?
For many people, yes. Research suggests online therapy can be as helpful as meeting in person for a wide range of difficulties. What matters most is the relationship between you and your therapist, and feeling safe enough to talk openly.
How it works
Our sessions take place by video call on Zoom, at the same time each week for 50 minutes. All you need is a phone, tablet or computer, a reliable internet connection, and a private space where you won't be overheard or interrupted. Headphones can help you feel more at ease.
Fees and getting started
Online sessions are £65. We start with a free 15-minute Zoom or phone call, so you can get a sense of me and ask any questions. If you would like to go ahead, we then arrange a first consultation at the usual fee, with no obligation to continue.
