So you think you might like to start therapy, but what happens next?
If you’re considering therapy, I offer a free 15 minute introductory phone call for a brief conversation about how things are with you and for me to give you a sense of how I work. If you wish, we can arrange an initial 50 minute exploratory consultation at the usual session fee, at which stage there is no commitment or obligation.
This is a two-way conversation - an opportunity for me to understand a little bit more about you and what has prompted you to seek therapy, but also for you to get a sense of me and ask any questions you have about the way I work and about therapy in general.
Following that, if we agree to work together we will meet at the same time each week for a 50 minute session, in one of my consulting rooms - either in King’s Cross, or in Crouch End, or alternatively online.
Our sessions are confidential, although there are some legal limits to this in order to keep you safe, which we will discuss in our initial consultation.
Prior to our first meeting I will send you a brief confidential Client Information form to complete and return. Should you choose not to go ahead with therapy, any personal information will be securely erased.
All client records are protected by the General Data Protection Regulation and Data Protection Act. No client information is shared with any third party except where necessary to protect the safety of clients or others.
